DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and safety of all buildings.
• Perform diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality. Detect malfunctions through observation (sound, visual or computer diagnostic). Make required repairs in a timely fashion.
• Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oil and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Order necessary parts to perform scheduled and nonschedule maintenance.
• Build and maintain mechanical systems, to include the use of of a variety of hand and power tools.
• Use of aerial/scissor lift to access areas at height for inspection and repair.
• Use of forklift to move machinery and equipment for inspection and repair
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma preferred.
• Completion of trade school or technical training preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred
• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms in English.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Spanish speaker a plus.
• Arrive at work on-time.
• Comply with company policies.
• Complete paperwork and related administrative duties.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office packge, to include Word/Excel and Outlook.
• Could be exposed to temperature changes and loud noises with appropriate PPE.
• Will work around chemicals with appropriate PPE.
